Meet Olanike Bakare · Founder and Team Lead

It started with my aunt’s story.

My passion for helping people become parents started with someone very close to my heart, my aunt. After 25 years of marriage, five IVF attempts, three miscarriages, and two negative results, I watched someone I love go through a pain that words could hardly explain.

I remember encouraging her, comforting her, and standing beside her even when others had lost hope. When she finally chose surrogacy and welcomed a beautiful boy and girl, I saw what it meant for a long-awaited dream to finally come true. That moment changed my heart forever.

I knew I wanted to help other families experience that joy, to be a source of hope for those who feel tired, discouraged, or forgotten. My journey in reproductive health began in 2019, and that passion eventually led me to establish Journey to Parenthood Consult.

Today, my mission is deeply personal. Because I know that behind every fertility journey is someone praying, waiting, and hoping for a miracle. I may not be able to promise everyone the outcome they desire, but I can offer compassion, guidance, and someone who genuinely cares. Because every dream of parenthood deserves to be treated with love, dignity, and hope.
